Close-up side-view photograph of a beautiful Great Blue Heron standing on the beach with the ocean waves behind him (or her). This photo was taken at the beach of the Gulf Shores, Alabama area while I was on a camera trip to the area. The Heron landed near me and just stood while I snapped away.
